About Me

Even as a little girl, I was always God-conscious.  I always knew that God was real, and, I always loved Him.

I didn’t grow up in church.  I didn’t read the Bible.  In fact, it probably wasn’t until early adulthood that I even learned how to find Genesis!  But I always talked to Him, and listened, and looked for His hand in and around my life.

Over time, I’ve come to realize that I was, and still am, a bit of a misfit. I don’t fit the mold of your average churchgoer. For a while, I thought that it was a bad thing–until I actually started reading the Word for myself.

It was then that I realized that God doesn’t want, or expect us, to fit in.  He wants us to know Him, to have a relationship with Him, to obey Him, and for us to win in every area of our lives.  Once we’ve learned this good news–he wants us to share it!

It’s my heartfelt desire to see women win in every area of their lives: spirit, soul, and body. And I do mean really winning: spiritually, financially, physically, in relationships, because it all matters!  It’s all connected…That’s why Marketplace Ministry is ‘where it’s at’ for me.

I’m an outgoing introvert who strongly dislikes pretense and avoids the use of titles.  Another random fact: I am an avid beauty product junkie.  I seriously enjoy all things beauty-adjacent! (I know: random, right?!) 🙂

My approach real, candid, and straightforward.  In my world, ‘girlpower’ is a real thing! There is nothing that women can’t do when we pool together and uplift each other.  I am a mom, a wife, a sister, a friend, and a spiritual gangster!  Although I’m an ordained minister, I prefer that you simply call me Sheli.

XO,

Sheli
